TDE-lighttech is involved in the biggest transformation project in the Netherlands. In Diemen Zuid approximately 50.000m² of office space is being re-inhabited as student campus.

The campus consists of five buildings and is capable of housing a 1000 students. Furthermore there are many facilities available, such as a restaurant, fitness centre, bar and pizzeria.

Where long corridors are typically illuminated with a single light at each door, the light in the corridors at Campus Diemen Zuid is created through an uninterrupted LED line. The 3,5 kilometer long LED line produces warm white light (2700K), which creates a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for the students.

In terms of longevity the LED line is a major improvement as well. After five years of operating 24 hours a day, the light output will be approximately 70% of its original output. The original output can simply be maintained by dimming the light output to 80%.
